A pleasant walk will take us to Plaza Mayor, which, with its arcs, cobblestones, and the charm of its traditional spots, makes it an essential reference for all visitors.

A few meters away is the very authentic district of Lavapies, the Puerta del Sol, which houses the country’s 0 Km., the representative Santa Ana Square, with its wonderful sunny terraces, and the Rastro, a flea market specialized in clothes and antique furniture.

In another direction, also a few minutes away, the Reina Sofía, Thyssen and Prado Museums, next to the famous Neptuno and Cibeles squares.

If it is shopping that you’re after, the touristic Preciados and Arenal streets will offer you all sorts of shops and services.
