The living room, just like the rest of rooms, is characterized by an impeccable and eclectic decoration, which combines classical influences with the most modern and vanguard elements. It is presided by a beautiful purple sofa, and features retro lamps, colourful curtains, last- generation television and DVD player and a practical wooden chest of drawers.

Next to it, built in wood, an impressive terrace with trees gives you welcome to the sunny days of spring, an excellent opportunity to enjoy wonderful breakfasts or romantic dinners. Its carefully studied disposition offers both a sunny area – for the coolest hours of the day - and a shaded area – perfect to freshen up on hot summer days.

The apartment has a bedroom that also has access to the terrace. This room is composed by an extremely comfortable king sized bed and is integrated by several desks, chests, lamps, paintings, murals and period decorative figures that will transport you to a not so far away past.

Behind a French style mirrored sliding door is the impeccable bathroom, modern and up to date, and totally equipped.

The fashionably decorated kitchen, in white furnishings and steel counters, has vitroceramic, refrigerator, washing machine, microwave and all the rest of the necessary equipment, as well as a small table and two chairs, perfect for breaktast.

The apartment is on the very genuine El Rastro district, the birthplace of Madrid’s real flavour and the location of the popular flea market specialized on clothing and antiques, a must-see on Sunday mornings.

Another must-see, almost next door to the apartment, are the celebrated Plaza Mayor and the no less famous Puerta del Sol, giving welcome to Madrid’s center. Just a few minutes’ stroll will take you to the stately and majestic Royal Palace, the Royal Theatre and the beautiful Sabatini Gardens, a perfect place to enjoy a nice walk.

In another direction, the unique Lavapiés district and the Plaza Santa Ana, with its sunny terraces, invite to spend a lively day full of Madrid’s flavour.

Not too far from here, and also accessible to a great leisurely walk is the cultural triangle formed by the Reina Sofía, Thyssen and Prado Museum.

If it is the shopping that you are after, the touristic Preciados and Arenal streets will offer you all sorts of shops and services. And, at night fall, a wide variety of restaurants, tapas bars and nightclubs.
