On entering the apartment, one is struck by the enormous amount of light that comes in through the large windows in the lounge. The floors are made of wood and the decoration in this area is comprised of a black leather sofa with a chaise-longue, an elegant cowhide rug, a photo of a famous national artist, a modern centre table made of marble and a glass dining table with four vintage chairs in bright red.

The bedroom windows also look out onto the exterior, but there is no noise as the apartment is in the city centre, but in a quiet street. It has a double bed of 1.50 x 1.90m, two glass bedside tables, two lamps and a full-length mirror. The original feature of this room is the wardrobe painted by hand on one of the walls, with real clothes-hangers!!!

The kitchen is fully furnished with next-generation kitchen appliances (dishwasher, washing machine/dryer, micro wave oven, vitroceramic cooktop…) in a dark red shade.

The bathroom has a walk-in shower and every commodity for personal hygiene.

The apartment is in the well-known, alternative district of Malasaña, an area which is also famous for its maze of streets filled with bars and restaurants that attract crowds of people of all ages and with different lifestyles every night.

A short walk will take you to Sol, the epicentre of Madrid, and the magnificent Palacio de Oriente with its marvellous Sabatini Gardens. Gran Vía is also within easy reach, the most famous street in Madrid, which recently celebrated its 100 years of existence and history. It has many restaurants and shops. Malasaña is often compared with districts such as Camden Town in London and East Village in New York.
